Four Squares: (From Sheila in Massillon, Ohio) "Four squares was one big square divided into four smaller squares painted on the asphalt. I played it with a playground ball and one person would stand in each square. you would have to bounce the ball to others for them to catch with the ball bouncing only in their square. the person in the main square called the game (little bounces, around the world, or really hard bounces I forget what that was called, etc) If you fail to catch the ball you were out, then you moved to the next square, trying to get to the main square. It sounds more complicated than it was."
Netball: (From Trista Amos in Auckland, New Zealand): "A game mainly played by women, seven on each team. Similar to basketball, although is played outside and and you cannot bounce the ball, only throw it, you have to be quite fit, and at the end of the game you wish you were dead as your body seems somewhat broken."

You can help me expand this page!! If you know of anything that added (or distracted) to/from the 80's culture that aren't listed here then let me know... Or feel the wrath of Mr. T! Please allow up to two weeks for your items to be added before re-sending them. Thanks!
