General Letters From Limited Warranty:
Date: August 8, 2005

Subject: Checking in
Hi Brian -
Just had our 25 year reunion this weekend. Erik didn't make it, but I sure had fun. The most requested music was LW! Man - even all the guys were
saying how much they loved our stuff.
Jerry is in LA, Dale is here, both doing the same things for W&F. Paul has a new place in LA where he is working on some film scoring. He still has his place here as well. Erik is marketing with his brother. Same stuff - I field test a bunch of their hunting stuff. I am working for the largest and faststest data warehouses in the world. Very busy and having a great time telling executives how to make their business better.
I fly myself around the midwest in a Cessna 185 I am a partner/owner in.
I also sing every spring with my alumni choir from Bemidji, MN. We get airplay on Public radio all the time. We do very avant-garde choral music that people really love. Very interesting and beautiful stuff - I put our choir up against any in the world. I still play bass and sing in my church, and some various jazz and rock gigs here and there.
Talk to you later -
Greg

Subject: The internet never ceases to amaze me
Hey Brian,
I was looking up my name for something completely unrelated, when up popped your website.
It took me completely by surprise, and I must say that I was delighted to see it.
Limited Warranty was obviously long over before the internet became popular, and so I never thought I would have the pleasure of seeing a website dedicated to us.
Anyway, just wanted you to know that I found it, and that it was fun to see...
Let me know if I can help, and thanks for your enthusiasm.

what an odd surprise. you've done your homework well, brian. however, you overlooked one other important member of the lw team. chris thompson played rhythm guitar and wrote some pretty cool tunes during the early days of the band. ( i.e. "moving things", "living in limbo", "genericland", "media man", etc. ) these days chris and i play in a band together called 'sun shot halo'. chris is on guitar and sings, i am on drums and do back up vocals. we even do some of chris's old lim-war tunes.
oh well, i was never one to be short on words. thanks for the lim-war site, brian. it was fun reminiscing.
