Please put me on your list. I have no life, and therefore, nothing better to
do but sit around and take quizzes about my favorite lost decade.

Brian, Glad to find another person of equal appreciation for such fantastic
movies and actors. I especially liked your Weird Science home page. I too,
am an avid movie lover. Anyway, please keep me informed on any changes that
you make to your information. Also, if you happen to know anything about
what Anthony Michael Hall is doing right now, could you please let me know?
He is one of my favorite movie stars and has/had so much talent. I'd really
appreciate it. Great page, but I think your Wierd Science quiz could've been
more challenging, it was good though. I'm also interested in a lot of the
same stuff as you, your career and hobbies, that is pretty unique. Hope to
hear from you soon.

Brian,
Your top 30 includes several artists that I'm not familiar with. I'll
have to check 'em out. Do groups like Odds and Soul Coughing have
a similar sound to XTC and Squeeze?
Some of your favorites are mine as well (McCartney, Split Enz, etc).
Have you heard World Party? The album "Goodbye Jumbo" is a pop
masterpiece, IMHO. If you can suggest any obsure (or not so obscure)
gems that I may have not heard, please drop me a line.

What a great site you have! Sixteen Candles is probably my most favorite
movie from the 80's. I was so in love with Jake Ryan. I have loved the name
Jake ever since seeing that movie. In fact, I named my 4 month old son Jacob.
(But I call him Jake!). Thanks for the memories.

I am a die-hard Fast Times fan. I aced both quizzes and know every single
word from beginning to end of the movie. I am a wannabee Jeff Spicoli. In
school, they call me Spicoli. I'm a senior in high school and I love 80s
music and movies more than anything. Well, almost anything. If you'll let
me, I'd like to help you create quizzes or something. Get back to me.

I think that your quiz over this movie is great. Some of the questions
are very hard. I think that you should make a Pretty In Pink page and
have pictures and sound clips from the movie. You are great.
I love all the movies you have here, with quizzes and stuff. You should
have one on Say Anything, one of John Hughes greatest movies.
Good Job,
Jennifer

Brian--your site is great and you seem pretty knowledgeable as far as
the whole '80's thing goes, so maybe you can help me out. I'm looking
for two things: 1) to download oictures of Duckie and 2)to find out the
title and artist of the French punk song which plays when they go around
the Louvre in "Eurpoean Vacation", or even better, where to buy that
soundtrack. Anyway, my name is Louise and I would greatly appreciate any
help. Take care and keep up the good work. Oh yeah, how about a "Real
Genius" quiz?

I enjoyed your trivia tests, though it would have been cooler if they
were interactive. I'm going to be doing one (don't worry, I've already
created 900 questions of my own) in Java Script one of these days.
Until then, I've got some fun non-trivia quizzes (except for the TV
Addict Quiz) on my web site that a fan coded in CGI and hosts for me.
You might want to check them out. http://www.javabooks.net/gbhp
Also, you may want to check my feature there, The WASHED-UPdate(tm).
This week's column is on Molly Ringwald, Judd Nelson, and Ally Sheedy.

Hi Brian,
My name is Holly. I'm glad I came across your page, it's good to see
someone with an interest in the movies of the 80's, I reckon they were
unreal movies, and I still watch them sometimes now. I have been compiling
something for a while regarding the Breakfast Club. You know in the movie,
where they say they all discovered they were all brains, nerds, jocks, etc,
well, I've been trying to identify key moments in the movie which prove
that, for example, Emilio is a princess. For that one, I'd say it's when
it is pointed out that he wears tights when wrestling. There are a couple
I can't get, I haven't got my list here at the moment, but if you're that
way inclined, I'd be interested to see your list.
Do you like the really trashy teen movies of those years, like Hot Dog and
Where the Boys are and the like? My sister and I used to try and outdo
each other getting the worst ones we could. There's an excellently bad one
called 'The First Turn-on' that I was particularly proud of unearthing.
It's got Penthouse Pets in it. But my favourite movie of that era is
probably 'Better off Dead'. But then The Breakfast Club' was an important
one for me as well. It meant a lot to me in my teenage years.
I found your page through doing a search on BCO, I used to hero-worship
them severely. Now I've got an interest in them and always go and see
them, though they only play infrequently now, but I'm not mental about
them. I like Richard Pleasance a lot, and see him play as often as I can.
I don't suppose you'd get the opportunity to see them much.
Hey Brian,
I enjoyed the Q&A session.
Cant wait for the Breakfast Club.
Regards, Asif

Hi, I just have a suggestion I think that you should have a
quiz for the movie "The Breakfast Club," I would LOVE to
help you with the questions too, because it could be a theme because you
have a couple movies with Anthony Michael Hall, why not one more?
Because I absolutely ADORE him!
