Brian,
I just happened to stumble upon your home page while I was searching for
info on "Pretty in Pink"--my all-time favourite movie. Your pages and
links are pretty darn cool. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one on
the planet with a tendency to drift off into 80s nostalgia. I chalk it
up to the intensity of high school emotions and growing pains. Glad to
see there are more people like me out there. I just wish I had real-time
audio access. Oh well, thanks for the 80s fun.

By the way, you should "score" your quizzes--that would add some
excitement!
Thanks again!
Lori Billinghurst

Note from Brian: We're working on the scoring part.

Dear Brian,
Hello!! Well, my name is Courtney, and I just had a look at your
quizzes, and I was totally surprised to see that someone else loves movies
like the Breakfast Club and Weird Science. I just wanted to tell you that
you are a cool guy, and that I hope you continue to keep up with the
quizzes!! How old are you? I'm 18, a freshman at the University of Hawaii.
Anyway, I would love to hear from you and get to know you, because we
already know that we have the same taste in movies!! Cool!! Anyway, take
care and keep watching those cool movies!

Hi Brian!
Just thought I'd send you an email to let you know that I just called my
friend Cinnamon Idles (aka "Sara") , and she was tickled that there were two
questions about her on your Sixteen Candles quiz. She is now living in Los
Angeles, working for a producer at the moment and still pursuing her acting
career. I found your site while looking for info. about Michael Schoeffling
(aka "Jake Ryan"). I would love to know if you have any info on his
whereabouts these days. I thought he had a really promising career ahead of
him, but he hasn't done anything since the early 90's. I just love him and
have been trying to find out what the hell happened to him. Let me know if
you know anything please!

Anyway, I loved your website! Email me with any info!

Loved your site. I'm a bit of an 80's freak myself, have a hard time
thinking of them as "RETRO". The quizzes were great too!!

Hello! I love all of your movies. The one in particular I saw recently
was Pretty in Pink. I was wondering what ever happened to James Spade.
He is a wonderful actor, but I never hear anything about him now. If
you have any information on him, or where I could I would greatly
appreciate it. Thank you for all you do.
Believe me, it is not unnoticed! I hope to hear from you soon!

Sincerely,
Gretchen Weingart

I had no idea how much I actually know about the movie Weird Science
until I took your quiz and realized that I could answer questions
that I didn't even expect to answer. For example what month was
Wyatt's b-day and it is in June. That is way cool. I really like
your quiz and I think that it takes a cool person to be able to pick
some of those things out of a movie.
Sincerly yours,
TigerKat

Hi Brian!
Thanks for creating a great web page. We love Sixteen Candles! Do you
know if the LD version of the movie is the theatrical release (which
contains all the good music)? We got the VHS and it sucked really bad!
The music really makes the movie! Any info you have will be greatly
appreciated!

Thanks
Thomas & Dawne
