Depeche Mode - "Black Celebration"
The follow-up to their massively successful SOME GREAT REWARD. |
Erasure - "Wonderland"
The first Erasure album. |
Frankie Goes To Hollywood - "Liverpool"
Frankie's second and final album. It was supposed to be produced once again by Trevor Horn, but Trevor passed production duties off to Steve Lillywhite. I think it's a fine album, but it in no way compares to the brilliance of their first album, WELCOME TO THE PLEASUREDOME. |
Peter Gabriel - "So"
This is probably one of my favorite albums of all time. But then again Peter Gabriel is one of my favorite artists ever. This album is so amazing. It put Peter in the "Big Time" even more than before. Features "In Your Eyes" and "Sledgehammer". |
Kraftwerk - "Electric Cafe"
|
Howard Jones - "One To One"
HoJo's follow-up to DREAM INTO ACTION. |
Peter Murphy - "Should The World Fail To Fall Apart"
Peter's first solo record after the disbandment of the band Bauhaus. The three other members of Bauhaus ended up as Love And Rockets. This is a short album but the songs are good. I'm a big fan of Peter Murphy's voice. |
Robert Palmer - "Riptide"
Robert wisely took the production team directly from the Powerstation project he recorded with Duran Duran's John and Andy Taylor and recorded this amazing record. Even if you, like many people, are sick of the song "Addicted To Love" there's plenty of other great songs on this album. This is easily my favorite Palmer album. |
The The - "Infected"
Every song on this album is incredible. It features the hit "Infected". |
XTC - "Skylarking"
The album that got XTC attention for the song "Dear God". This album is one of my all-time favorites. It's a beautiful album that flows perfectly from beginning to end.
