2 Minutes Hate "WORM" Ardent Records
A great first album by this band. Nice guys and they sound great live too. The CD also has multimedia enhancements for Macintosh users. Great stuff!

3'rd Matinee "Meanwhile" Reprise
What a great combination. Patrick Leonard and Richard Page are 3'rd Matinee and I love every song on this album. I can only hope that they collaborate together again soon. If you like the sound of this album be sure to check out TOY MATINEE.

Big Audio (Dynamite) "Higher Power" Columbia
Not the best BAD album, but worth a listen.
|
Boom Crash Opera "Fabulous Beast" Ariola/BMG (Australia)
One of my all-time favorite bands. This is one of their best. More soulful than their other albums. (Australian import)
|
Certain Distant Suns "Happy On The Inside" Giant
Cool album. Too bad nothing ever happened with it. There's some great music on here.
|
The Charthogs "Do Your Mind" Third Stone/Atlantic
Seems like everyone passed right by this album except me. I love it!

Paula Cole "Harbinger" Imago
Great voice. Great songs. She sang on Peter Gabriel's "So" and "Us" tours.

Elvis Costello "Brutal Youth" Warner Bros.
I always like a good Elvis Costello album.
|
G. Love and Special Sauce "G. Love and Special Sauce" OKeh/Epic
Great stuff. A mix of blues, jazz, and hip-hop for a new generation.

Peter Gabriel "Secret World Live" Geffen
Peter Gabriel is one of my all time favorite artists ever. I basically worship everything this man has done. His live shows have to be the best concerts I've ever seen. His shows aren't just a band on a stage. It's a whole production that is unlike anything you'll ever see anywhere else. This double cd has great live versions of all his hits and some others. I'm going to stop now because I could talk about PG all day...

Hamell On Trial "Big As Life" Doolittle
This man has energy! The album was picked up, repackaged, and rereleased by Columbia in 1995. A little weird at first, but it completely grows on you. A guy everyone should see live. Not only for the super music, but also for the great jokes and stories.

hHead "Jerk" IRS
This is a great band. I don't know what they're doing now, but I hope they release something else soon. If you know anything about hHead or it's members send me an email.
|
Letters To Cleo "Aurora Gory Alice" Cherry Disc/Giant
|
Magnapop "Hot Boxing" Play It Again Sam/Priority
Good stuff. Produced by Bob Mould.
|
Nine Inch Nails "The Downward Spiral" Nothing/Interscope
I really like this album. I just wish I could hear more of it over top of all the feedback and other noise.
|
Jules Shear "Healing Bones" Island
What can I say? I love this album! You couldn't ask for a better list of guest performers: Jerry Marotta, Tony Levin, Elliot Easton, and Rod Argent.
|
Soul Coughing "Ruby Vroom" Slah/Warner Bros.
I fell in love with this album the very first time I heard it. This album has tons of great songs on it and it was mostly overlooked. Go see them live!!
